TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Direct Debit Membership is processed via third party processor, Gym Master/Payrix.

    CE Hi-Per Centre activation fee for new members is $25 and will be charged with your first payment.

    If your payment is declined for any reason a $10 fee will be charged with your next payment, the payment will be re-debited in 2-3 business days. Each time your payment fails, for any reason, you will be charged the failed payment fee.

    You may be refused participation if your Membership is not up to date.

    The Member shall pay for all costs incurred by the facility (including costs for which the facility may be contingently liable) in any attempt to collect any monies owed by the Customer to the facility under this Agreement including debt collection agent costs, repossession costs, location search costs, process server costs and solicitor costs on a solicitor/client basis.

  • CE HI-PER CENTRE members agree to abide by all membership regulations and this agreement. Members agree to comply with expressed and/or customary rules for participation and use of equipment and the facility. Unless there is a cancellation, as provided for in this agreement, the Member will be responsible for all payments due and owing under this agreement, even if there is no use of the facilities and services. In the event of death or disability, liability for fees will cease at the date of death or disability. If the facility becomes temporarily unavailable due to events such as fire, flood, loss of lease or the like, the Owner will extend the Member’s privileges for the same period as the facilities were unavailable.

  • This facility is under 24 hour recorded video surveillance. Member access to the facility by use of the dongle is logged.

    Members may not bring guests into the facility at any time without prior written consent of the Owner. If the Member breaches this condition the Owner may charge the Member a guest fee and/or may suspend or cancel the membership of the Member and may impose a penalty of up to $250.00. The Member must not allow any other person to use the Member’s dongle and must advise the Owner immediately if the Member’s dongle is lost or stolen, in breach of which the penalties as referred to above apply. A Member who does not have a dongle at the time of entry into the facility is not entitled to enter the facility during non-staffed hours and must not expect any other person to permit the Member entry.

    All Members have access to a free orientation session including advice on the proper use of facility and equipment.

    Each Member must wipe down equipment and rack up any weights used. Members are required to use the safety facilities provided on equipment. Any Member unsure of the use of equipment must obtain instruction from the staff  or a personal trainer.

    Unruly behaviour, vulgar language or improper use of equipment in the facility or being present in the facility while intoxicated, whether as a result of alcohol or drug ingestion, or other inappropriate behaviour is not permitted and may result in the suspension or cancellation of the Member’s membership without any entitlement for refund.

    No Member is permitted to photograph or video any person or activity in the facility. Persons under the age of 18 years are not permitted to use the facility unless a parent/guardian has assumed personal and financial responsibility requiring both parties’ signatures on the time of signing the membership agreement form.

    Minimum entry age is 16. This may varied at management’s discretion.

  • A Member may cancel this agreement by giving 2weeks’ notice by completing and signing a “Notice of Cancellation” form in person during staffed hours.

    If you are cancelling your Membership due to extenuating circumstances, this notice period may be waived at the discretion of Management. A medical certificate may be requested.

  • A member may freeze their membership by providing 2 weeks’ notice via email to gym@comp-edge.com.au. 4 weeks is the maximum period you can freeze your membership, at which point your membership will automatically restart.

    If you are freezing your membership due to Medical reasons, a medical certificate will be requested.

  • Transfers are not permitted.

  • Appropriate gym attire must be worn in the facility at all times. Sports shoes are compulsory. Work boots, street shoes, thongs, no footwear and open-toed sandals are not acceptable. Jeans and drill trousers are not permitted. No hoods are to be worn over the head or face on entry or in the facility. The Owner and staff have the right to refuse entry to any Member inappropriately dressed.

  • The Member is liable to pay an additional fee of $10.00 in the event that details provided are incorrect, including change of account, insufficient funds or otherwise. The Owner reserves the right to deactivate the Member’s access dongle until payment is made. In the event of default of the membership payments, the Member shall pay for all costs incurred by the facility (including costs for which the facility may be contingently liable) in any attempt to collect any monies owed by the Customer to the facility under this Agreement including debt collection agent costs, repossession costs, location search costs, process server costs and solicitor costs on a solicitor/client basis.

  • The access dongle remains the property of the Member in the event of cancellation. The access dongle is able to be reactivated subject to a $25 reactivation fee within a year of deactivation.

  • The participant acknowledges and agrees that the activity organised or conducted by Competitive Edge Nutrition Pty Ltd (ABN:86 630 548 702) trading as Competitive Edge Hi-Per Centre, and its’ coaches, is an intense activity that has certain dangers and risks to my health, including risk of injury or death to the participant.

    The participant further acknowledges and agrees that due to the nature of the activity, it would be unreasonable for Competitive Edge Hi-Per Centre to be in any way responsible for any injury to or death of the participant and the participant by this, to the full extent permitted by law, waives all of his or her legal rights of action against and fully releases Competitive Edge Hi-Per Centre for loss, damages, injury or death howsoever arising out of or in relation to the participation by the participant in the activities conducted or organised by Competitive Edge Hi-Per Centre including without limitation, liability for any negligent or tortious act or omission, breach of duty, breach of contract or breach of statutory duty on the part of the company, its office bearers, directors, employees or agents.

    The participant warrants that they are in good physical condition and know of no medical or other reason why they cannot or should not do active or passive exercise. The participant recognises that the fitness instructor(s) is not able to provide them with medical advice with regard to my fitness, and that this information is used as a guideline to the limitations of their ability to exercise. The participant agrees to not hold any certified trainer or Competitive Edge Hi-Per Centre liable for any injury or death that may occur during a session.

    The participant further acknowledges and agrees that he or she has undertaken the activity freely, voluntarily and absolutely at his or her own risk and with a full appreciation of the nature and extent of all risks involved in the activity. This waiver must bind the participant and his or her executors.

  • By providing a credit card number or bank account at the time of joining, the Member expressly consents to the facility charging all fees and charges in respect to the membership to the provided credit card or bank account.
